We caught up with Rachel Hicks from The Sky Wave Distilling Company to find out more about their company and exhibiting at the British Tourism & Travel Show.
Tell us a bit about your organisation:
Sky Wave was born of a huge hangover and became an international company, producing the World’s Best Gin and hosting guests from around the world. As far as we know we are the only distillery housed on a former RAF base, recently used for filming by Tom Cruise. Guests visiting us step back in time to the 1930s as they enter our site. We offer intimate, bespoke experiences for small groups, choosing from our Distillery Experiences with Curated Gin Tasting, our Cocktail Masterclasses and our exclusive Master’s Reserve for a deeper dive into what lies behind our premium spirits — this is the only experience led personally by our Master Distiller. We have welcomed group tours from America, Holland and France. We can create an experience to excite and delight your guests, just talk to us.

We are promoting our brand new Master Distiller’s Reserve for a deep dive into the world of botanicals and spirits but we also know what fun a curated gin tasting with a distillery experience can be, so this perennial favourite will be on offer along with our very hands-on, interactive Cocktail Masterclass. We can even arrange for a truly bespoke event for intimate groups, families or couples — bespoke distilling with our master distiller. This is NOT gin school. This is a personal tailored one-to-one experience with the distiller who created the World’s Best Gin (World Gin Awards).
