Terms of Entry
The British Tourism & Travel Show (BTTS) is open to professionals and organisers involved in planning trips, tours, outings, or excursions for groups – whether on behalf of a business, club, association, school, college, social group, or similar organisation. Admission is restricted to these visitors.
AS A VISITOR, YOU AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING:
We reserve the right to request proof of eligibility, such as evidence of your role, company, or group affiliation, to ensure relevance to the event. Entry may be refused if verification cannot be provided.
Exhibitors participate to showcase their own offerings to industry buyers. It’s not appropriate for visitors or non-exhibiting organisations to use the event for sales or promotional activity. This includes, but is not limited to, handing out literature anywhere at the event, approaching exhibitors or visitors to promote your own products or services, or wearing branded clothing. Anyone found doing so will be asked to leave the event.
Please take product samples only when offered by exhibitors, and only enough to evaluate for potential business needs. Samples considered excessive may be confiscated. In any case, samples must not exceed one bag per visitor.
As the show is a dedicated business event, it isn’t designed for those attending to study the industry. BTTS is reserved for professionals and organisers who are actively involved in planning or arranging group travel. We appreciate your understanding that this helps maintain a focused, business-ready environment for everyone taking part.
We kindly ask that children under 18 only attend the event with prior agreement between their parent/guardian and the organisers. As the exhibition is primarily a place of business, it may not be the most suitable environment for young visitors.
There are a few important health and safety considerations to be aware of, including large crowds and the sampling of alcohol. Please keep these in mind when deciding whether to bring a young child. For the safety and comfort of everyone, children under 2 must be in a pram, pushchair, or baby carrier. Unfortunately, entry cannot be granted without one of these.
On arrival, please visit the organisers’ office, where you’ll be asked to sign a waiver confirming that you understand the health and safety considerations involved in bringing a child into the show. Without a signed waiver, we’re unable to permit entry. Please note, there are no crèche or childcare facilities available at the event.
Photography and filming take place throughout the event for promotional use. By attending, you consent to being included in images or footage that may be used by the organisers to promote this or future events. If you’d prefer not to appear in any materials, please email a clear photo and proof of identity to [email protected] with the subject line ‘BTTS: Do not use my photo’.
By allowing an exhibitor or sponsor to scan your badge, you consent to providing them with your personal data for follow-up communications about their products or services. This data may be transferred outside of the European Economic Area for these purposes, and you consent to such transfer. You also understand that your data may be held and used by the organiser, Diversified Business Communications UK Ltd, and any third-party hosting provider acting on its behalf, to run the event and analyse visitor traffic with a view to improving the visitor experience.
Your organisation’s name or logo may appear on event-related marketing collateral to promote participation. If you’d prefer not to appear in any promotional materials, please email [email protected] with the subject line ‘BTTS: Do not use my company name or logo’.
All visitors and exhibitors must behave respectfully towards fellow attendees and event staff. Anyone displaying aggressive, discriminatory, or antisocial behaviour will be asked to leave the event immediately. If you experience or witness any behaviour that makes you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, please report it to a member of staff or the Organisers’ Office. Please refer to our Code of Conduct for full details.
Entrance to the show closes at 4pm on Thursday 11 March 2027. There is no admittance after this time.
Visitors failing to comply with the Terms of Entry may be asked to leave the event.
Thank you for understanding and agreeing to these basic courtesies, which help ensure everyone has a pleasant and productive visit.
If you wish to attend the show, your data will be held to facilitate your visit (for example, sending your badge and travel updates). If you would like your data to be deleted from our records and no longer wish to attend, please email [email protected].
