We caught up with Eleanor Melville from Belvoir Castle to find out more about their company and exhibiting at the British Tourism & Travel Show.

Tell us a bit about your organisation:

Belvoir Castle is a magnificent Regency stately home set high above the Vale of Belvoir in Leicestershire. Home to the Dukes of Rutland for nearly a thousand years, the castle combines dramatic architecture, rich heritage and warm hospitality, making it one of the East Midlands’ most distinctive group destinations.

Today, Belvoir Castle welcomes visitors from across the UK and overseas to explore its opulent State Rooms, which house an exceptional collection of fine art, tapestries and period furnishings. From grand staircases and gilded ceilings to intimate family treasures, each space tells a story of resilience, creativity and aristocratic life through the centuries.

Beyond the castle walls, beautifully landscaped formal gardens and expansive parkland provide spectacular views and seasonal colour, offering groups the opportunity to enjoy both heritage and horticulture in one inspiring setting. Throughout the year, we also host exhibitions, special events and themed experiences that add variety and fresh reasons to return.

Belvoir Castle is also proudly home to afternoon tea, served in elegant surroundings that perfectly complement the castle’s grandeur. We specialise in memorable group visits, offering tailored packages, guided tours and dedicated support for tour operators and group organisers.

Tell us what your visitors can see on your stand:

Belvoir Castle offers a diverse range of products and services designed to create memorable experiences for groups and visitors alike. At the heart of our offer are access to the magnificent State Rooms, where guests can explore remarkable interiors, historic collections and centuries of family heritage. Guided tours are available to enhance the experience, bringing the castle’s stories to life through expert interpretation.

Our beautifully maintained formal gardens and parkland provide an additional highlight, offering seasonal interest, panoramic views and space to explore. For groups, we provide tailored visit packages that can combine castle admission, guided tours and garden access to suit different itineraries and timescales.

Belvoir Castle is also home to afternoon tea, a popular addition for group visits. Throughout the year, we host a varied programme of exhibitions, events and special themed experiences, giving operators new reasons to return. Our dedicated team works closely with tour operators and group organisers to ensure smooth planning, competitive group rates and a warm, professional welcome.

Why is exhibiting at the British Tourism & Travel Show an unmissable opportunity for you?

Exhibiting at BTTS is an unmissable opportunity for Belvoir Castle because it brings together the very audience we are passionate about working with — group travel organisers, coach operators and tour planners actively seeking inspiring, saleable experiences. The event enables valuable face-to-face conversations, helping us understand operators’ needs, seasonal trends and itinerary gaps.

BTTS is not simply about visibility; it is about connection. It offers the chance to strengthen existing relationships, introduce new product developments and reinforce Belvoir Castle’s position as one of the East Midlands’ most distinctive and welcoming group attractions.
